How do I book an airport taxi?

You can book your airport taxi online through our website using the online booking form, via phone, or by WhatsApp.

Advance booking is highly recommended for Airport Transfers or Cruise Transfers.

Do I need to pay in advance?

Return Journeys – If we did not take you to the airport, seaport, or long-distance destination, payment must be made 24 hours in advance.

We will send a secure payment link via WhatsApp, Email, or Text.

Outbound Journeys – You can pay using a Secure payment link, Card machine, or Cash to the driver.

Can I get a receipt for my journey?

Yes.

We provide email receipts for all online payments and can issue a paper receipt upon request.

Can I cancel or reschedule my booking?

Yes.

We do not charge cancellation fees. However, rescheduling may not always be possible due to other customer bookings. If your requested time is unavailable, we will do our best to accommodate you.

Do you offer discounts for return journeys?

Only if you are picking up a family member on the same day and returning within 30 minutes. If your waiting time exceeds 30 minutes, car parking charges may apply.

Airport Transfers

What happens if my flight is delayed?

No need to worry! We track your flight in real-time and adjust the pickup time accordingly at no extra charge.

Do you offer meet and greet services?

Yes.

Our drivers will meet you at designated pick-up points:

Heathrow Airport – Inside the terminal at a pre-arranged meeting point.

Gatwick Airport: 

North Terminal – Premier Inn, opposite the drop-off zone.

South Terminal – Drop-off zone. 

Can I book a taxi from the airport without pre-booking?

Yes.

But we highly recommend pre-booking to ensure availability and avoid last-minute stress.

Do you operate 24/7 for airport transfers?

Yes.

We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for prebooked airport and seaport transfers.

We are a small team, and are not available to take calls after 2100 hrs (unless you have a prebooked journey). 

What if I miss my flight?

Please inform us as soon as possible. If you require a new pickup time, we will do our best to accommodate you.

Cruise Transfers

Do you provide transfers to Southampton & Portsmouth cruise terminals?

Yes.

We offer direct door-to-port transfers from Bexhill, St Leonards, Hastings, and Ore to Southampton and Portsmouth cruise terminals, ensuring a hassle-free journey.

Will you help with luggage at the cruise terminal?

Yes.

Our drivers will assist you with loading and unloading your luggage at the terminal.

How early should I book my cruise transfer?

We recommend booking at least 4 weeks in advance, especially during peak cruise season.

Luggage & Vehicle Capacity

What if I have extra luggage?

If you have more than four 25kg suitcases, please let us know at the time of booking.

If there are fewer than 4 passengers, seats may be folded down to accommodate more luggage.

Can I bring sports equipment, a wheelchair, or a pet?

Yes.

Please inform us in advance so we can arrange the appropriate vehicle.

Can I bring a child seat?

Yes.

Your welcome to bring your own child seat.

However, we cannot provide one, store it, or return it after your journey, as this would reduce space for other customers.

Driver & Vehicle Standards

Are your drivers DBS checked?

Yes

To maintain our taxi licences, all EZ Taxis Bexhill drivers undergo enhanced DBS checks every six months, as required by Rother District Council.

Unlike Uber or Bolt, our licensing conditions ensure the highest level of passenger safety and trust.

What happens if the driver takes a different route?

If a diversion is necessary, our drivers will inform you and explain why.

This could be due to:

Accidents – blocking the usual route

Roadworks – causing delays

Temporary road closures – In such cases, the driver may use backroads, lanes, or tracks to get you to your destination as quickly and safely as possible.

How often are your vehicles inspected?

Our taxis undergo two mandatory inspections per year, known as the Vehicle Condition Test (VCT), to remain licensed. In addition to this, all vehicles must pass a regular MOT, as required for roadworthiness.

How often do you service your vehicles?

Since our taxis cover high mileage daily, we carry out regular servicing – sometimes twice a month – to maintain:

Efficiency – Optimising our hybrid vehicles to be as environmentally friendly as possible

During the Journey

Can I request a specific route?

Yes.

If you prefer a specific route, let your driver know. We always check for the fastest and least congested routes before your journey.

Do your cars have charging points?

Our vehicles are equipped with phone charging ports. Please ask at the time of booking.

Can I eat or drink in the taxi?

Light snacks and drinks are allowed, but we kindly ask that you keep the vehicle clean and take any litter with you. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of your return journey.

Can I make a stop on the way to my destination?

Yes

However, additional stops may incur an extra charge. Please let us know in advance.
