Local roads – Bexhill, St Leonards and Hastings
Barrack Road, Bexhill: repairs outside No. 20 remain scheduled until Friday 30 October, 8am–4pm daily. Excavation prevents vehicle access between No. 20 and the cul-de-sac end once work begins; pedestrian and emergency access remain. Agree a reachable collection point. Official notice.
B2095 Hooe: overnight through closures between the A269 and A259 junctions are scheduled during 26 October–7 November, 7pm–6am, with no weekend working. Follow the signed A269/A2690/A259 diversion. Property access is managed by the site team. Official notice.

Rail: Waterloo disruption this morning
National Rail’s 8:13am notice reports a signalling fault between Vauxhall and Waterloo. Trains to and from Waterloo may be cancelled, revised or delayed by up to 20 minutes, with disruption expected until 1pm today. Check platforms and connections, including journeys towards the south coast. Official incident notice.
Portsmouth/Southampton planned works: the Havant blockade continues during 26–30 October. Southern services terminate at Chichester and Waterloo–Portsmouth Harbour services at Petersfield, with replacement buses towards Portsmouth Harbour and Southampton Central.
