Local roads – Bexhill, St Leonards and Hastings
B2095 Hooe – plan for Monday night: the revised programme runs 26 October–7 November, 7pm–6am, with no weekend working. Weekday through closures affect the stretch between the A269 and A259 junctions. The signed diversion uses the A269, A2690 and A259 in both directions; property access is limited and managed by the site team. This is a published works schedule, not confirmation of a live Sunday closure. Official revised notice.
Advance warning – A2690 Combe Valley Way: planned closures between Haven Brook Avenue roundabout and Queensway are scheduled on 18 and 19 November, 8pm–6am, finishing at 6am on 20 November. The published diversion uses the A2690, A21, A2102 and A259 in both directions. Allow for this when arranging evening Bexhill–St Leonards/Hastings journeys. Official details.
A complete live list of utility works and emergency closures in Bexhill, St Leonards and Hastings could not be verified. The council record for Maplehurst Road was unavailable, so current closure hours and reopening are not confirmed here. Check East Sussex Highways’ roadworks map for your exact route. Scheduled end dates alone do not establish that a road has reopened.
Heathrow roads – M25 restriction scheduled until 10am
The published closure of the M25 junction 15 anticlockwise through carriageway, between the M4 slip roads, runs from 8pm on 31 October until 10am today, Sunday 1 November. Reopening has not been independently confirmed. Clockwise traffic and all M25/M4 links remain open under the plan. The signed diversion follows M4 westbound to junction 5, turns around and returns eastbound to rejoin the M25. National Highways warns of possible residual delays after removal of the closure; allow extra time this morning. Official notice.
Rail – Portsmouth connections today
Sunday 1 November: planned works mean Waterloo–Portsmouth Harbour services terminate at Guildford, with replacement buses between Guildford and Havant. Allow longer ferry and cruise connections and check the whole journey before leaving. Yesterday’s Haslemere arrangement is not today’s plan. Network Rail schedule and National Rail service updates.
