Local roads – Bexhill, St Leonards and Hastings
B2095 Hooe: scheduled weekday through closures continue between the A269 and A259 junctions, 7pm–6am, during the revised 26 October–7 November programme, with no weekend working. The signed diversion uses A269, A2690 and A259 in both directions; property access is limited and managed by the site team. Allow diversion time tonight. Official revised schedule.
Kings Road, St Leonards – Saturday 7 November: the planned market closure affects Western Road–London Road, 5am–5pm. Arrange collections outside the closed stretch. Official order.
Stockleigh Road, St Leonards – proposed works on 7 November: the county council’s published notice of intention identifies a closure between Silchester Road and Carisbrooke Road for Openreach works. It anticipates work on 7 November, weather permitting, with a Carisbrooke Road/Silchester Road diversion and property access maintained whenever possible. Daily hours and final implementation were not confirmed. The 18-month legal order window is not the expected works duration. Council notice published in the public-notice portal.

Flights – new USA check-in paperwork advisory
Emirates published an advisory on 4 November saying passengers departing to or connecting through the USA at or after 11:59pm EST on 3 November must complete and sign an attestation before check-in, unless exempt. The form concerns presence in the Democratic Republic of the Congo during the previous 21 days. Emirates asks passengers to bring a printed physical copy. Check the airline’s full instructions and official form before travelling; allow time to complete the paperwork. This is a check-in requirement, not a cancellation notice.
