Local roads – Bexhill, St Leonards and Hastings
B2095 Hooe: tonight falls within the final scheduled working week of the revised 26 October–7 November programme. Planned through closures operate 7pm–6am between the A269 and A259 junctions, with no weekend working. The signed diversion uses A269, A2690 and A259 in both directions. Property access is limited and managed by the site team; completion has not been confirmed. Official schedule.
Kings Road, St Leonards – tomorrow, Saturday 7 November: the planned market closure affects Western Road–London Road, 5am–5pm. Arrange collections outside the closed section. Official closure order.
Watermill Lane, Bexhill – advance planning for 9–13 November: the county council’s notice of intention anticipates South East Water works between Spratts Lane and Haven Brook Avenue. The proposed through-traffic diversion runs via Watermill Lane, Crowhurst Road/Catsfield Road/Ballards Hill, Crowhurst Road/Sandrock Hill, Queensway, Combe Valley Way and Haven Brook Avenue, in both directions. Daily hours and final implementation were not verified. The 18-month legal order window is not the expected works duration. Published council notice.

Rail – Gatwick Express suspended this morning
National Rail’s 6:45am update reports a signalling fault at Victoria. Gatwick Express services between Victoria, Gatwick Airport and Brighton are suspended. Southern trains to/from Victoria may be cancelled, delayed or revised, including routes serving Eastbourne, Hastings and Ore. Disruption is expected until 10am today, Friday 6 November.
