Confirm final timings before travelling; the notice does not establish a live closure. Published council notice.

Rail – west coast connections and evening trains next week

On Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November, planned replacement buses run between Brighton and Worthing or Littlehampton. Check connections if travelling west towards the ports. National Rail engineering notices.

From Monday 9 to Thursday 12 November, buses replace Southern trains between Eastbourne and Hastings or Ore from about 9.30pm until the end of service each evening. Ashford trains run only between Hastings and Ashford International; use an earlier bus if connecting from Eastbourne. National Rail timetable advice.
