Local roads – Bexhill, St Leonards and Hastings
B2095 Hooe: the revised 26 October–7 November programme specifies no weekend working. Do not treat it as a confirmed Saturday-night closure. Scheduled weekday restrictions are 7pm–6am between the A269 and A259 junctions, with a signed A269/A2690/A259 diversion in both directions and property access managed by the site team. Official revised schedule.
Local verification limitation: a complete live utility and emergency-closure list for Bexhill, St Leonards and Hastings could not be verified. A secondary copy of an East Sussex council decision identifies anticipated Maplehurst Road works during 30 October–1 November, but the council record could not be retrieved to confirm current arrangements; check before choosing that route. No live closure or diversion is asserted here. Use East Sussex Highways’ official roadworks map. Yesterday’s scheduled end dates for other works do not establish that roads have reopened.
Heathrow roads – M25 closure tonight
The M25 junction 15 anticlockwise through carriageway between the M4 slip roads is scheduled to close 8pm tonight, Saturday 31 October, until 10am Sunday 1 November. Clockwise traffic and all M25/M4 links remain open under the published plan. The signed diversion follows M4 westbound to junction 5, turns around and returns eastbound to rejoin the M25. Rail – Portsmouth connections today and tomorrow
Today, 31 October: planned works mean Waterloo–Portsmouth Harbour trains terminate at Haslemere, with replacement buses Haslemere–Havant. Tomorrow, 1 November: trains terminate at Guildford, with buses Guildford–Havant. Allow longer ferry and cruise connections and check the full journey before departure.
