Local roads – Bexhill, St Leonards and Hastings

B2095 Hooe: planned overnight through closures remain scheduled during 26 October–7 November, 7pm–6am on working nights, with no weekend working. The affected stretch is between the A269 and A259 junctions. Follow the signed A269/A2690/A259 diversion in both directions; property access is limited and managed by the site team. Allow diversion time for evening journeys. Official revised schedule.

Kings Road, St Leonards – Saturday 7 November: the planned market closure affects the stretch between Western Road and London Road, 5am–5pm. Agree a collection point outside the closed section. Official order.

Advance warning – A2690 Combe Valley Way: bridge inspections and barrier repairs are scheduled on 18 and 19 November, 8pm–6am, finishing at 6am on 20 November. Through closures affect Haven Brook Avenue roundabout–Queensway. The published diversion uses A2690, A21, A2102 and A259 in both directions. Official notice.

This selective list does not cover every utility or emergency restriction. A complete live list for Bexhill, St Leonards and Hastings could not be verified. Check East Sussex Highways’ roadworks map for your exact route; no current queue lengths or unverified reopening claims are included here.

Heathrow rail – delays this morning

National Rail’s 7:38am notice reports that all lines have reopened following a defective-track speed restriction at Ealing Broadway. Elizabeth line services between Southall and Paddington may still be revised or delayed by up to 15 minutes while services recover. Disruption is expected until 11am today, Wednesday 4 November. Affected routes include Heathrow Terminal 4 and Terminal 5 services.

Allow extra connection time and check your specific train. Alternative ticket acceptance includes London Underground via reasonable routes and selected bus and rail services; consult the full conditions. Official incident and alternatives. Yesterday’s all-day warning is not being repeated as today’s forecast.

Flights, ferries and cruises

No new individual flight or sailing cancellation was verified for this snapshot. This does not establish normal operation of every service. Check your airline and ferry or cruise operator before leaving for Gatwick, Heathrow, Southampton or Portsmouth. International passengers should also check FCDO destination advice; an ongoing conflict alone does not confirm cancellation of a particular flight.

Dated snapshot: schedules and conditions can change after publication. Recheck official road information and your transport operator before departure.
